Brisbane to Melbourne Roadtrip

There was a heatwave across the state and this was a great place to be to keep cool. The water was quite cold and much clearer here than the muddier waters we had experienced further down the Murray River. We are told that is because they had recently let water out of the Hume Weir. The current in the river was very strong near our camp as the river was quite narrow so we tied a rope to the tree to stop ourselves being washed downstream.
